- Dave, Possible, but i rather doubt it would be much help- the curvature of the window is rather sharp, so i'd presume that the flow separates rather fast behind the "max thickness" of the "airfoil" .

- Graham, if sailplane people use a trip there are two possibilites: * to "correct" a behaviour not intended/expected at construction time, what _may_bring the thing up to the design L/D * "by design"
