Dear Martin,
If you use the original baggage moment arm of 88=22 AOD for things within the
cavities
either side of the central tunnel and 100=22 AOD for things on the flat
area your calculations should be fairly accurate. The front bulkhead of the
baggage bay is at FS80 so you may think that FS100 is a little far back but
remember
that the rear bulkhead slopes back.
Use the front portion of the baggage area for heavy things where possible to
minimise
the CofG shift on loading. The rear space is ideal for large volume/low
weight items.
Hope that this helps.
Best regards

XS baggage bay arm
Has anyone got the recommended moment arm for the XS baggage bay? I
modified my =27Classic=27 and could measure it but want to know if you measure
the front (not very likely), the middle (possible) or right at the back (to
be on the safe side).
