Aileron Washout?

In my manual on page 7-1 it says the washout for the ailerons should be
0.9 degrees; on page 7-15 under method to check the washout it says the
washout should be 1.1 degrees.  I can't tell if one of these numbers is
in error, or if one of these is based on a chord measurement versus a
