build preparations

Two questions:
1. Is anyone working on an update of 'Hints and Tips Compilation, up to
12-96' by David Watts? The frequency of new ideas should have decreased,
but probably not to zero.
2. Is anyone working on a list of optional mods that can be copied or
otherwise acquired?
Function/reason, weight effect, labour, cost, availability mode, PFA
status, when best to incorporate,..
Maybe a modus of cooperation on such, if deemed useful, could be found.
