Europa-List: Rotax additional alternator

Hi all,

I am a little bit short of electrical power to run all the systems and landing
lights in my 914 driven monowheel Europa XS.
Does someone has experience with the ROTAX extra alternator and does it fit 
under
the XS cowling?

I also saw that some of you put the extra alternator at the end of the 
crankshaft.
What's the added value in comparison to the ROTAX extra alternator except
the CofG?
