 Hello guys,

Congratulations on persuading the wives/girlfriends to help
 finance your europas!.

Tony Renshaw has asked about tips applying to stage one
kits. There are some in this list, but i am afraid that the
easiest way to access them is to download the archived monthly
files from way back in june/july (?) 95. When you signed up on the
list there were some commands, such as index, get, and a directory
listing to call up. Peter Thomas has kindly collated the messages
monthly and i suggest you download these :-( yes it will cost i'm
afraid, but well worth it). There are also copies of the factory
newsletter which Peter Thomas has posted, and these are well
 worthwhile downloading too.

There are mails on fitting conduits to wings for
strobes and discussions on aerials, nav lights, fuel tank gauges
and hints on doing things easier amongst others, but dont forget
that if you want to modify your europa you will be subject to your
own approval authority rules and regs (the PFA for us here in the
UK). As has been mentioned before, if you are several hours away
from the factory time zone, you need an experienced builder /
inspector local to you. He (she) should be able to answer nearly
all of your immediate problems, with very few having to go to the
factory. Dont try it alone unless you are really experienced at
crisis management! it isnt worth the hassle.

The factory are'nt on email to the best of anybodys
knowledge, and dont hold your breath. The US branch are and there
has been nothing official from them. I dont believe there is a new
panel in the pipeline and as we cant fly IFR in the UK you will
have to ask the stateside builders for what they have done in that
 department.

Download those files and sort through them, no, i dont work
for compuserve(!) but it will save you time and money in the long
 run.

 chus, dave
