Those of you who have been privileged to mount the Europa will know that
the easiest method of entry ( short of a hoist) is to stand on the seat
with the first foot, sit on the headrest, and manoevre the other leg
inside before inserting the feet into the well.
A hobnailed boot (or any other long term), is going to do a lot of no
good to the cushions. A protective plate (ply/formica) will save them,
and the dxf posted to the FTP (Seatprot.dxf) shows a design which serves
other purposes to make it earn it's keep in the air, e.g.
Coffee table, made available by stowing it flat in plastic guides between
the headrests, pulling it forward to expose it's two apertures.
and/or Kneeboard, though you might want to hinge it across the middle to
give the stick more room. Otherwise just stow it under your seat.
