Whatever you do during construction if you want to paint it yourself a spit saves a lot of hasell - yes the aerobatic checks are necessary when you turn it over - but unload any fuel as its not cleared for inverted painting otherwise. The simplest spit is a rope from a beam then round the engine -(so nothing touches the fueselage) with the tail tube in a vertical pedestal. 90 deg rather than inversion is enough, so the fin doesn't need clearance. gemin |
