Carl There are some electrical units on the market, which are compact and run from 12V. These are effectively mini-fan heaters. They are used for mounting on the dash of a car to demist the windscreen before the engine warms up. As for other units they tend to use hot water circulating over a fan. The best place to look is in the Kit Car magazines, this is also a big problem when building a kit car. If you don't find a unit in there, you will certainly find a lead to a supplier.
