On the principle of "can happen, will happen" (has happened) sooner or later you will need to check or reconnect your pitot in flight. If it comes out behind the pilot's seat (and you are sitting in it) it is virtually impossible - try it on the ground - let alone while flying the aircraft solo. Behind the passenger seat it is easy- so if you haven't yet fitted it .......... Graham C G-EMIN |
