FYI,  I was a depositor on a GlasStar before I contracted Europaphilia, and
Stoddard-Hamilton's promised price on an IO-240 was about US$14,000.  This
was supposed to be a special negociated volume price, for GlasStar builders
only.  This was indeed a very attractive price, comparing quite favorably
with the 914. 

Myself, I am still open on engine selection, and anxiously awaiting the
Jabiru 6.
