To add a little to this subject many of the landing problems I have seen have
involved a flare at 5 or 6 feet. This seems a problem at any speed, to slow
and it drops .to fast and it is very difficult to lose speed and height and
bring about a passable landing. I find my best landings are often achieved
with that touch of power that keeps everything under control.This is most
important in gusty conditions
