I have alsso heard the same reports from this workshop and several US
builders have followed this method with good results.
I would however echo the NO vote unless you are very confident with what you
are doing and a definate NO if you are a first time builder working without
an experienced builder looking over your shoulder. If you do end up with a
layup that is too "dry" there is nothing you can do about it other than rip
it off and start again.
With a bit of care and practise you can end up with a good balanced layup
without peel plying the whole surface.
