Apologies for my former message about the possibility of the Europa group
selling on teflon tubing and stainless steel hinge. I really should not
send E-mails when completely exhausted!
What I should have/meant to say is that when the tool bank was being
thought of I thought it might be a good idea to supply items such as safety
locking wire etc, that can usually only be sourced in quantity, much along
the lines that Tony K wrote.
Travelling down this route, we can all think of a number of items that it
would be easier if available in smaller quantities and very soon the list
was quite big.
Thought went along the lines that - lending out tools and bits of other
equipment was one thing, but selling items for use on aeroplanes was quite
another and as soon as I started to think in terms of possible liability I,
in my humble capacity of possible future Tool Bank organiser, felt I was
getting out of my depth.
However, as there was not much interest shown in the Tool Bank there has
not been any need to develop this further.
Regards and Season's Greetings
