| Mike Dolphin took the cowlings off his plane for a winter check around after about 100 hrs I think and found one of the hex socket head screws that fix the engine in the engine frame had backed out about 1 1/2". He drilled and wired them after tightening them. He did the job with a hand held drill, not easy but possible. Seasons greetings to you all. Safe flying in 98 and on Ron S No 33 PS To Andy Has the factory a recomendation on the above, it is by no means the first I have heard of. Ron. |
