I went down to see Peter Kember a couple of days ago. He has just brought
his Europa home for 3 to 4 weeks garage work. New upholstery, electric fuel
gauge, move the battery back and NSI VP prop.
The last job he is undertaking is the fitting of an electric stall warning,
which is to be fitted to the leading edge of the wing. This has been
produced by somebody with a Zenith and after discussion with the PFA all are
keen to see it on a Europa, so Peter's has been selected as the test bed.
I remember there was some talk on this subject a short time ago, so I
thought you would all be interested. It is early days yet, as Peter will not
be back into the air until late January, but as soon as I know more, I will
let you know.
