Buyers of the 912S should note that not only is it more powereful but it has a higher gear ratio as fitted to the 914 so existing propellers would certainly have to be re-pitched and larger blades may be advisable. We have a customer who I think has ordered a 912s and is flying with a VP prop. He may try his existing blades then test the larger blades that we use on the 914 and slow 912 powered aircraft.
