I too would be most grateful for any information on mating the Rotax
914 to the "classic" Europa aircraft (alrhough I do have the widened
seat version of the fuselage. Obviously there is considerable brouhaha
over the 100HP options presently available. I see tremendous scope for
someone who can produce a state-of-the-art 100-110HP DIESEL
(compression-ignition) engine utilizing the great strides in metallurgy
over the last 5 years - fuel-injected, cooler-running, reliable, lower
cranking amperes, propeller-reasdy-rpms - and so forth. Trouble is, time
is running out for many like me who must shortly pull out the thumb and
make a decision. The 914 is regrettably (price) the present thought
(anybody seen a Canadian dollar under the rug?).
