but not much good as filters - I tried silk stockings (discarded) but there is
too much absorption and scatter. LCD screens invariably have them (the
proper sort) as they are so feeble in brightness, but the measurements I
quoted were with these in place on a screen 4 times brighter than a typical
laptop. So there is still a long way to go for use outside.
