Andrew
I have recently flown a Europa with the intention of purchasing it and
tried both clean and flap stall and it was so benign in both cases. I have
since heard that this is not typical and various owners/operators declared
that a wing-drop is a feature. So, I believe it is very much down to how
one is rigged!
I'll be very interested in your tri-gear trial. The tri-gear, apart from
increasing the stall speed due to the increase in weight, should not affect
the stall characteristics of the aircraft.
