The Answer to question Number 2 is....
The Tachometer is driven directly from the ac charging coils, the voltage varies
depending on engine revs and coil load eg:battery charging, strobes etc. the
frequency is RPM X 6 ; 6000 / 60 for 1000 RPM 100 Hertz
Hope this helps

Subject: Rotax instrument interface.
I would be very grateful if anyone could help me with answers to a few
questions;
1: Does the Rotax engine come with pressure, temperature etc. transducers?
If so what is the specification for the interface.
2: What interface is used for the tachometer?
Wishing you all a merry Christmas and for us plodders, a fast build in the
new year!
