ISTR mentioning that I have digital OAT available it this is important.
Another nastier possibility is that it has hysteresis, even it the dampers
don't.

I still live in hope that someone with a naked red piece will sit on it and
tell me the result. Otherwise it will have to wait till I can get G-EMIN off
it's trailer and load it up.
