JPI has responded to the results of our media blitz and I
gotta tell you, I'm NOT HAPPY about the way some
folks have expressed their feeings about this matter
to JPI. First, Click on this link and from their front page,
click on "Matronics" to see what JPI has posted on their
website . . .

. . .here is a copy of a letter I crafted to JPI in
response to their web posting . . .

If you want to be HELPFUL to Matt's cause, don't be a jerk!
This started out as a simple serving of notice to JPI that
the aviation consumer community was aware of what JPI
was contemplating and that we were watching. We reasoned
that JPI could demonstrate no damages to their business
or public image by Matronics use of the word FuelScan.
Some of us obviously went beyond that simple task and
chose to harrass, insult and abuse people who were NOT
responsable of any of this . .
Now, picture this. An attorney hands a judge a pile of
these derogatory documents and claims that Matt's actions
have indeed injured JPI. Guess what . . . NOW the judge
may find a basis for agreeing with the lawyers! Unfortunately,
the damage is done . . . I sincerely hope that all
this can be put to rest with a minimum of bloodshed . . .
but let us not forget in the future: When one asks for
help, you will only HURT that person if you carry out
ugly acts and utter obscene words on their behalf.
Depending on how things go down now, our collective best
intentions may have been torpedoed by an unthinking few. . .
indeed we may have made matters worse. This has not been
one of my better days . . . .
