There is another aspect.  By  coincidence I have just pent the afternoon
cleaning off last summer's accumulation of kamikaze bugs on the surfaces of G-
EMIN... and that has only completed the upper surfaces of the tailplanes.  It
seems to matter not at all which fluid you use - the main  constiutent has to
be lots of  elbow grease.  i.e b.....  hard work.
