To show what careful aerodynamic cleanup can do, Kim Prout has recorded a
top speed at sea level of 171 mph in his 80hp Classic. Normal cruise is
around 150. He just upgraded to the high-compression pistons and a Whirlwind
constant-speed prop. Testing is proceeding, so no hard numbers yet.

Wow !, that's a 100 hp Rotax, isn't it ?,
What's his 'firewall speed' straight and level ?
How many gallons per hour does it use at 173 mph ?
What changes should I make to my standard build Europa to create a speed
machine
like this one ?
These performance claims just keep getting better and better !
