Not sure I can recommend! But you will need to allow for the 'width
(depth) of the Aileron Hinges.

Mine are about 1.25"+. It looks severe when first cut.
In practice it was still not deep enough and I had to 'dremel' back
further in area of hinge placement to get a correct fit.

You will also find later that the lead edge will need drilling to allow
for rivet placement from bottom skin (to get depth). You back fill with
flox when fitting hinges.

Finally when hinges are positioned and riveted I reinforced (after
carefully 'masking' hinge line) the 'V' with more flox and a single bid
layer to ensure strong 'anchor.

The hinge area if I remember had 2 additional layers of bid recommended.

Don't want to go back there again!!
