That's just where mine was - a lightweight, with converter below it. PFA
approval no. 10505, 21.4.97 (including nav. lights).
I have actually moved it further back now as there was one drawback, a VOR
aerial installed above the baggage compartment picked up pulses on the ident
channel (and comms.when it was used as standby) but you could always turn it
off for a while..
