After studying your suggested wiring for the 914 (figure Z7), I still have
a question.
You have the regulator C pin connected to B+ through a switch, a circuit
breaker and a fuselink (talk about belt and suspenders). Therefore it
would be possible to disconnect C from the battery at any time. How does
this square with the warning in the Rotax manual to "never sever
connection between terminal C and +B of regulator (while engine is
running?), e.g. by removal of a fuse"?
Do you know if there is a schematic of the Rotax regulator available? This
could answer several questions.
