My guess would be that the wide blade would be a better compromise. It has
been suggested that the narrow blade can be pitched to hold the revs down
in the cruise but you might find the climb less efficient. Hot and high
take offs are where it would count most.
I stress that this is gut feeling not calculated, based on the fact that
the narrow blade Warp Drive is a good compromise fixed pitch prop for the
912 . That compromise is unlikely to be as good at higher power.
Opinions you guys with 912S and 914?
