We are using the XS cowlings.
We took these measures to improve cooling:
Put the radiator as low as possible into the duct.
Straighten the duct itself, no sharp foldings in the aluminium.
(Being careful not to fool the wastegate actuating arm).
Open up the duct-exit as much as possible, keeping a small rim
for strength.
Set the radiator into the direction of the airflow as much as
possible.
Cover the areas around the radiator where air escapes.
Open up the front of the cowling duct.

Some points of attention:
Be sure to use a 50/50 glycol/water mix.
Don't use too much oil. Check the oil the Europa way or as described
in your Rotax manual. Drain if necessary, don't run the engine.
Route the wastegate cable away from hot parts, ours melted.

Good luck to you down there, wish we were heading for the summer :-).
