Don't forget to include a cutoff valve at the firewall in case of fire. I
used the aluminum fittings from Aircraft Spruce to connect the 2" scat at the
firewall. The fittings are held with 3ea 6-32 bolts but are spaced from the
firewall by an annular ring of aluminum plus the thickness of a washer.
Leftover pieces of stainless from the firewall (shaped like fat commas) are
rotated into the washer thick opening between the fitting and annular ring.
The annular rings space the comma far enough from the firewall to allow the
head of a 6-32 bolt in the tail of the comma to clear the firewall. This bolt
is used as a pin to drive the comma to close the vent, where the comma
rotates about one of the 3 bolts holding the fitting to the firewall.
