Just done this.
My fuselage (no. 47) mating surfaces were very lumpy and would possibly
consume more glue than a good smooth pair. Mine took about 1/4 of a 1kg tin
of Redux ie. 250 gms of the yellow stuff. At 14 degrees centigrade I just
managed to get around the fuselage and bond it on before the pot life ran
out. I did it in two mixes on my own.
Take care with the preparation so that there are no interruptions and
everything falls to hand. I used clecos to pull the halves together because
they're quick to put in and remove. Dunk the ends in oil first so they
don't get bonded in.
