If anyone is thinking of the Rocky Mountain
Instruments uEncoder, I just picked the thing up
---From the instrument shop after calibration. The
lady who owns the shop said she's never seen
anything like it. She has 2 new, digital
electronic pressure instruments (reads atmospheric
pressure to 4 decimal places). The uEncoder's
altimeter is off only -1 foot through 10,000, and
-10 up through the 20's. ASI is dead on, 35 knots
thru 80; -1 from 80 to Vne. OAT is nonlinear by
only 1 deg. C. Cool!
