I never thought the day would come when I wouldwrite this, but halfway
through the fuselage I now realise that I just cannot devote the time I
need to continuemy project. My business and personal life has got so
much busier since I started the project over five years ago and I now
have so many additional commitments, that I am now looking for someone
to take over and continue the good work.
Part of my problem is that Istriven for perfection inthis project,
andhave probably spent 2,500 - 3,000hours getting this far. Far, far
too long! I just can't face another two to three years - because
that's what realistically it will be - before I get to fly. I want to
go fly now :)
What I have is as follows: Mk I wings, rudder, tailplanes and XS
fuselage. The wings, tailplanes, flaps and ailerons have been profiled
and finished by Roger Targett - probably one of the finest GRP craftsmen
in the UK. Add-ons are wingtip strobes/nav lights; fuselage
upgradekitMk1 to XS; Navaid AP-1/s-2 Autopilot; Tie Bar Kit(for extra
weight); Andair Fuel valve; Graham Singleton's Tailwheel Mod; Andair
Tailwheel; etc.
All in all I have spentover 25,500. The hardest and dirtiestwork
has all been done and the most interesting and creative work lies
ahead. Anyone interested, at or about what I have laid out?If so
please e-mail me, Lloyd Owens, on telephone UK +44 (0)1954 232087
eves/weekends.
