Hello,
Some time ago I received your post below regarding the production of a
conventional tailwheel kit for the Europa. I am not convinced that the
standard Europa undercarriage suits my needs and am very interested in your
concept. I have just received my latest Europa magazine which shows HB-YIB
in detail. "What a pretty a/c"!!!! If this is your conversion, which I can
only assume it is, you appear to have done a lovely job. I am very
interested in an overview of what would be involved in terms of modifying
the cockpit module and gear attachment, basically more interested in
mainwheel, but tailwheel too. I would like to know how this gear has
effected the flight characteristics of the Europa in terms of roll rate and
general handling. I am nearing the stage where a decision has to be made
soon, as I am completing my wing setup and will be skinning the wings
probably before I receive your reply. If you could let me know whatever you
can at your earliest convenience I would appreciate it. I am obviously
interested in the cost too. Thanks
