PDA's such as the Casio and Compaq are not good enough in daylight.  I
believe that all the glider top men use mono or colour machines but switched
to mono.

Not so the new Compaq Ipaq. The display on this unit is very bright and is
quite visible in sun in a Europa cockpit. All we (non USA natives) need is
for Control Vision to release a worldwide database for the Anywhere
application - and a bigger instrument panel!!
