Whilst my a/c is a Mk1 I can report that Andy Draper insists on 13 degrees
up
resulting in my having to give more clearance for the mass balance weight on
the top and bottom stroke. Bottom stroke can be achieved by moving the bump
stop down about 1/2" and putting a smaller diameter stop in place. Top stop
in my case was a shaped 3/4" piece of ply wood which had to be "ratted" out
with the old Dremel . Except it is painful being through the "D" access
on your back ,arms above your head, swarf falling in your eyes. However mine
has now 13 degrees up and about 4.5 degrees down at the tail plane.
