I don't know of anyone who admits to an unintentional 'gear up' landing,
but there have been quite a number of occasions where the landing gear
has
retracted on touchdown.
On the majority of these it was reported that the pilot though that the
gear
was fully engaged, but as it subsequently turned out, this was not the
case.
Once familiar with the aircraft, gear up landings are much less likely
(IMHO).
