You can do thicker lay-ups with Superfill but you need to put a layer of glass every 1/8 in. for reinforcement. Not a bad idea with ANY filler actually. I am using deck cloth from A/S for this purpose. Wherever I have a thick layer of Superfil I lay on a layer of this cloth. It only weight 1 1/4 oz per yard. Tony |
