Two weeks ago, I sent the following e-mails to Europa Lakeland. On
January 31 I sent another e-mail, requesting an acknowledgment or status
on my previous questions. To date, I have received neither. At the
very minimum, if answers are not forthcoming, I would appreciate an
estimate of when I might get them.
As a precaution, I will copy Europa, U.K., on the off chance that the
Lakeland office has closed.

I have just received an e-mail regarding Mod. 58. As it happens, I am
just about to install the drive pin plates in my Mk1 monowheel. I will
skip that step until the new parts are available. I understand the
flying craft will get first parts. Any
estimate when parts might be available for the rest of us ?
Also, I heard that Europa no longer has engine mounts available for the
original cowl. I am planning to use the 912US engine, and would like to
use the original cowl, if possible. I did note that your engine package
includes the new style cowl.
What are the advantages of the new style cowl on a Mk1 model ? Any
vision or performance advantages ?
Thanks for any advise you might be able to give.
BTW, I'll be in Florida the week of Jan 29. I may stop in to say Hi if
I get a chance.

Saturday, Jan. 20:
Is 'green stripe bungee' suitable for the classic mono wheel ? While
reviewing old e-mails, I came across one where John
Bampfylde question bungees stretching over time. Roger replied that they
would, but if John had a bungee with green stripes,
he would replace it with a bungee with blue stripes.
I ask because I see my bungee has green stripes. Should it be replaced
before installation?
