Forwarded from the bounce bin. Message is from Europa Aircraft (Andy/Roger) <roger@europa-aircraft.com> ***************************************************************** As there is the possibility that the cable could snag on the landing gear, the cable guides are added to prevent this. The slotted guide simply moves the cable outboard and also reduces its free length. Putting cables in conduits, especially if the ends are exposed to the elements, can promote corrosion.
