This applies in just about all countries.
Europa have a builders insurance policy that is available in most countries.
Check with Lakeland.

Hello all.
I suppose this should be directed mostly at the US builders. I have
a question about how everyone, or anyone is insuring their kits. I was
told today by my home owners insurance guy, that airplanes or airplane
parts are specifically excluded from coverage. He says this is very
common nation wide, but certainly all the carriers in this state
(Washington) have the same restriction. I tried to convince him that it
isn't really an airplane until the FAA says so. He said it doesn't
matter. It isn't covered. Period.
Suggestions anyone?
