Although the controls will be more sensitive I am not sure about the
landing being harder. Martin Stoner reckoned that an aft C of G made
landings easier on the mono wheel as it was easier to get the '4 point'
landing attitude. By getting the tail down early you gain more directional
control due to the tailwheel and prevent any roll because the outriggers
are on the ground. Not being a Europa pilot just yet I have not been able
to check this out for myself but Martin has had a lot of experience on type
so it might be worth considering.
