Bruce and Suzy, congratulations on your first flight! My own was one of
the most exciting days of my life........one I'll never forget and one
Russell will never forget either. He was so nervous I thought he was going
to toss his cookies : - )
Relax about the niggling little problems that arise on first flights. They
are common to all of us and will get sorted out in due time. The thing
I've come to realize about a homebuilt plane is that you're never really
"done". You're always seeing things you want to change, or modify, or add.
Myself, I want to add a fuel flow computer, and wish I had thought enough
to build in an electric servo trim for the rudder and ailerons. I also
wish I had built in a good ventilation system, and an angle of attack
indicator system........but I'm not about to go chopping holes in my plane
at this stage.
Congratulations again! I'm anxious to see you at Sun N'Fun.
Regards,
Garry
