The gap is essentially zero. In the Tri-Gear Manual, Issue 2, 30 July 1999,
page 27-22 are the instructions on how to use silicone sealant to fill the
gap (after painting, or else the paint won't stick). I presume the other
versions of the manual have similar instructions.

Does anyone know what the gap between the wing root fairing and the side
of the fuselage should be? I would like to have a contact fit for
aesthetics and drag reduction but I am concerned that the paint on the
fuselage might get chaffed due to wing flex. Is this a concern or not?
