I have been to their site, but I couldn't find where they say they are
legal. I don't believe alternating the flashes meets the Regs on a
couple scores. Whelen achieves required brightness in part with 4
flashes, since time is in FAA's effective intensity formula. Yes, it
take more amps to store energy for four, but Xenon is Xenon, requiring
X amount of juice for Y intensity, and Whelen presumably knows by now
how to make an efficient supply. Do they say they meet Part 23?
