The Europa is definitely sensitive to loading as related to roll trim. I
considered putting in a trim tab when I was building, but decided not to
when I decided to put in the Navaid autopilot.
The Navaid eliminates the need for trim when it is used. However, I have
found that even when hand flying long distances solo, where it tends to roll
to the left, the pressure on the stick to maintain level flight is nominal.
My conclusion - roll trim is not needed and not worth the complexity.
