Hi Cleve,
I would recommend bonding on the top after all the wiring, plumbing and
instrument
panel work hook up work is complete. In fact, do everything possible
in the fuselage before bonding. Only drawback I can think of is that the
filling/priming/painting
then has to be done with the extra weight of the
engine which increases the awkwardness of manouevring and setup for spraying,
etc.
To ease this problem, you can certainly fill and prime the bottom of
the canoe by inverting before engine and top installation.
