Svein:
I would suggest that you give a quick E-mail to the guys at Andair. I
saw the Andair rep at Oskosh. They had a facia plate made up just for the
Europa and can fix you up with what you need. They are very familiar with the
plane.
The FAA doesn't approve parts for experimental airplanes, that's why
they're experimental. You must do all of your work so that the plane is
built in an airworthy manner to standards good enough to ensure safety for
yourself and any others you may happen to crash into (onto?)

Subject: Andair valve
gascolator
Greetings all,
I am planning to have the fuel tank selector handle recessed into the
flat
top of the centre console in my Tri-Gear, rather than the standard
position
on the console's port side. Andair makes the valve, extension
and handle, I
understand. Further, I intend to install the Andair Mini
Gascolator. As
this would be modifications of the factory issued building instructions,
the
approval process in Norway would be simplified if I can refer to the
same
modifications already having been approved by FAA, PFA or similar.
I would therefore appreciate it very much if those of you who have
done
either (or both) of these modifications on your Mono or Tri-Gear and
already
have obtained the FAA, PFA or similar approval, can advise me of that
fact
including your registration (tail) number.
If anyone would also kindly advise me of what specific part
names/numbers
you ordered for the valve, extension and handle, as well as for the
Mini
Gascolator (ref. the different connector options), it would assure that
I
order the correct parts. Any particular advice regarding
these
modifications would also be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
