RE: Outrigger Locking

The factory issued an optional mod quite some time ago which fits bushes
in the outrigger pivot hole. There was some evidence of ovalling of the
holes in some long service aircraft and this fixes that. I am at the
office so can't remember the bush part # but it's the standard 1/4" bush
used on other parts of the aircraft. The mod just requires opening up
the hole to the required size with a drill and fitting the bush in. I
did mine in about 10 minutes.
